ICC's Intel Core I3 (Gen6) Processor Training
ICC conducted an Intel Core I3 (6th generation) microprocessor training last Dec 3, 2016 at ICC Imus, Nueno Avenue, Imus City. Participants were graduating applied computer engineering (ACE) & computer technician (CT) students. ICC CSS (Computer Systems Servicing) Senior faculty member Mr. Benedick Sarmiento was the main speaker.
Intel Corporation introduced the 6th Generation Intel® Core™ processor family last September 2015. The 6th Gen Intel Core processors deliver enhanced performance and new immersive experiences at the lowest power levels ever and also supports the broadest range of device designs. According to Intel, there are over 500 million computers in use today that are four to five years old or older. They are slow to wake, their batteries don’t last long, and they can’t take advantage of all the new experiences available today. The 6th Gen Intel Core processors were built on the new Skylake micro-architecture on Intel’s leading 14nm manufacturing process technology. The 6th Gen Intel Core processors deliver up to two and a half times better performance, triple the battery life, and graphics that are 30 times better for seamless and smooth gaming and video experiences.
Aside from the Intel Core I3 (6th generation) microprocessor the following latest computer hardware equipment were likewise discussed, shown & demonstrated: 4GB DDR4 Memory, 1TB Hard Disk Drive, Socket 1151 Motherboard and Tower Casing with 700W Power Supply. Installation of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Operating System was also part of the training.
All ICC graduating ACE/CT students will be trained on the latest in computer hardware before graduation.
