Imus Computer College

Imus Computer College (ICC), in cooperation with the Cavite Computer Society (CCS), held the SEEK Information Technology Conference 2017 (SEEK.IT 2017) last January 9, 2017 in ten (10) locations in Cavite and two (2) locations in Las Pinas. The theme of SEEK.IT 2017 was "Knowledge is Power".

 

Topics of the conference ranges from the latest in Information & Communications Technology, Robotics & Computer Animation. Topics on Leadership, Communications & Business skills were likewise part of the conference.

 

ICC computer programming & applied computer science students attended the programming related topics. ICC computer technician & applied computer engineering students attended the robotics related topics. ICC computer secretarial, office management and computerized accounting students attended topics on communications, leadership or business skills.

ICC believes that seminars such as SEEK.IT 2017 are capable of keeping the students updated with technologies. The following are some of the reasons why ICC management have integrated attending seminars as part of an ICC student's experience:

 

1) Seminars provide latest information about the things which are happening in the world. 2) Students cannot improve their knowledge from textbook alone. They must take part in various seminars on latest topics.

3) The updates from the seminars on various fields cannot be included at once in the student curriculum.
